Production begins with careful harvesting practices that involve collecting the inner bark layer of the tree. This bark is lovingly processed by hand, using hammers to make the fibers soft and pliable. These fibers are then embellished with natural dyes and dried under the sun, keeping the care of the planet in mind.
What makes this collection so special is the sustainable harvesting system. After harvest, the tree trunk is tenderly wrapped in protective banana leaves. When these leaves dry out naturally, the tree's bark layer begins to regrow. This means that the tree itself is never in danger, and that we can continue to enjoy the beautiful Bark Cloth without harming nature.
